New members welcome
We welcome new members in all voice parts, but particularly tenors and basses. It is helpful if you can read music, but not absolutely essential and we do not expect choir members to be able to sight-sing. If you are interested in joining the choir please contact the Secretary (e-mail thesecretary@ckcsonline.org.uk). You need not commit to joining the choir immediately: many people prefer to “try us out” for a short period before formally signing up.
Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 7.30 – 9.30 pm, including a short coffee break. Our rehearsal venue is Bethesda Methodist Church, Great Norwood Street, Cheltenham, GL50 2AP.
Concerts are typically held in Holy Apostles Church, London Road, Cheltenham, GL52 6HW or St Mary’s Church, Charlton Kings.
If you are under 25 and in full time education, then we can offer you free membership. For others, membership currently costs £175 per year.
